Anyways, sometimes dryers may not work properly and the consequence is not producing the heat. We are discussing this problem trouble shooting with Whirlpool dryers.
How to Troubleshoot Whirlpool Dryer When It’s Not Heating
Before troubleshooting, first check the house fuse box. Most of the dryers make use of different fuses. So, sometimes fuses may be blown out. Even there are no fuses; the dryers will run as before. To perform this, remove the dryer front side panel by using a screw driver. And, do some additional work as mentioned in given URL. Then check the heat fuse. This thermal panel is located inner side of dryer back side panel. It appears just like 1-inch fuse connected to the panel by using black resin. If it is blown already, better to replace it.
Checking the Power Cord
Substitute the power cord to Whirlpool dryer. If still problem is there, substitute the terminal block inner side the dryer by which power cord is connected to.
